Experience
-
Tesla
Mechanical Design Engineering Intern [May 2024 - August 2024]
-
Worked under Occupant Safety Systems - Seatbelts, where I supported the development and integration of new seatbelt tech for future vehicle programs.
-
Tesla
Mechanical Design Engineering Intern [September 2023 - December 2023]
-
Worked under the Interiors Validation team, supporting the validation and launch of Interior trim components.
-
University of Waterloo Formula Motorsports
Chassis Member [May 2023 - Present]
- Designed jigs for chassis frame, powertrain tabs, and differential tabs that were utilized for the manufacturing of the 2023 competition vehicle
- Utilized lathes and milling machines to manufacture jigs for the chassis and powertrain subteams
- Worked on the design and validation of the accumulator mounts for the 2024 UWFE vehicle
-
Skygauge Robotics
Engineering Intern [January 2023 - May 2023]
- Designed and developed a new packaging system for Q2 drones using SolidWorks, leading to a new packaging system to be deployed across over 10 new drones resulting in 80% decrease in packaging times
- Developed a drone dashboard with frontend stack (HTML/CSS/JS) to parse backend fleet data of drones and utilize Nginx and Flask to host the web interface
- Oversaw the validation and certification processes (developing QI and QC procedures and hardware testing) for flight embedded hardware of the drone which lead to an increase of 200% in drone production and 70% yield in recommissioned hardware
- Performed regression tests to maintain new software releases to rigorously ensure flight critical performance resulting in over 50 update releases for drones, ground control, and hardware
- Conducted root cause analysis of a hardware failure that resulted in the entire fleet of drones to be grounded and implemented a plan to unground over 10 drones
